How does it feel to engage in escapism and where might someone escape to? What are the effects of escapism?

 

            My pieces show experimentation through the exploration of medium and different stamping methods. I Include a variety of lines and textures within my work to emphasize my message as well as look visually interesting. I progress in my ability to paint dark images and still feel that it is dark and still interesting as my pieces go on. My collage piece gave me a greater understanding of many mediums; for instance chalk pastel, which I would use on later pieces. It also aided in my understanding of color and composition. In finding a balance of colors and ensuring a cohesive and balanced piece of work.
